The Braves have lost Pitcher Kevin Gausman to the Reds who claimed the right hander off waivers today.The 28-year-old has recorded a 3-7 record and 6.19 ERA over 16 starts this season, making two trips to the injured list along the way.Gausman went from Baltimore to Atlanta in a trade last July and was outstanding down the stretch for the Braves, posting a 2.87 ERA over 10 starts, but hasn't been as successful this season.
The Reds will have him under contract through next season and could let him audition for a spot in the2020 rotation alongside new acquisition Trevor Bauer, Luis Castillo, Sonny Gray and Anthony DeSclafani.
