Clemson linebacker is stepping away from football due to injuries

Clemson redshirt freshman linebacker Bryton Constantin announced tonight that he is stepping away from football after battling several severe knee injuries.

Constantin, who has been sidelined during his time at Clemson due to constant knee issues, announced that he is giving up football, but staying in Tiger Town as a student.

Constantin was a four-star and top-100-rated player overall as an inside linebacker. He helped lead University Lab (La.) to state championships in 2017 and 2018.
