Mississippi State RB leaves the program and will head to the NFL

Are the wheels falling off in Starkville? A handful of players have left the program since Mike Leach took over. Today a report from Al.com says Kylin Hill will head to the pros.

Hill played in the first three games this season for the Bulldogs before sitting out the team’s most recent game against Texas A&M due to what was believed to be a suspension. In those first three games, Hill rushed for 58 yards on a mere 15 carries. Now as Mississippi State prepares to face Alabama this Saturday, it will have to do so without Hill.As a junior last year, Hill ran the ball 242 times for 1,350 yards and 10 touchdowns. That made him one of the top offensive weapons in the SEC last year and set the bar high for this year. That play earned him honors as a First Team All-SEC player and made him the recipient of the Conerly Trophy, which is given out to the best football student-athlete in Mississippi.
