Jordan Strachan from Georgia State lead the country last year with 10.5 sacks tied for most in the FBS. He will now transfer in to South Carolina and enroll immediately.
Strachan is a redshirt junior and will have 2 years of eligibility left. He lead a Georgia State defense that tallied a school record 35 sacks. The gamecocks can use some help on that front after recording only 14.5 sacks last season.
