Clemson coach Dabo Swinney met with the media today and said that Running backs Will Shipley and Kobe Pace will not be out for spring practice. Pace according to Swinney underwent toe surgery after the season. With the 2 at the top of the depth chart on the bench,Swinney said it will give Phil Maffah a chance to shine.
“It’s a great opportunity for Mafah to kind of be the guy this spring,” Swinney said. “He didn’t really get a chance to be the guy. Kobe did, Shipley did, so it should be a great experience for him to catch up a little bit this spring.”
