When Tom Brady Moves To A City Its Sports Teams Become Winners

Tom Brady is arguably the best quarterback of all time, with six Super Bowl victories, appearing in the Big Game nine times, and racking up 30 postseason wins. Winning isn't exclusive to Brady, it turns out. A wild graph shared on Twitter by @Brockjersey shows that wherever Brady lives, winning follows, and it started just two years after he was born.

Brady was born in 1977 and grew up in San Mateo, California, just 20 miles from San Francisco. Two years later, the San Francisco 49ers drafted arguably the second-best quarterback in history, Joe Montana. Brady grew up watching as his favorite team won five Super Bowls with Montana behind center. The Oakland Raiders also won a Super Bowl, and the Oakland Athletics were World Series champions.

In 1995, Brady left San Mateo to attend the University of Michigan. His college career coincided with a resurgence of the Detroit Red Wings, who would win three Stanley Cups while Brady called Ann Arbor home.

In 2001, Brady moved to Boston and helped turn the Patriots into a dynasty. While he was winning Super Bowls, the Boston Red Sox finally broke the Curse of the Bambino, winning their first World Series in 86 years. They would win a total of four championships while Brady was living in Boston. The Celtics also added an NBA championship, and the Boston Bruins won the Stanley Cup.

After Brady left the Patriots, he moved to Tampa Bay to play for the Buccaneers. Just a few months after he settled into a home he is renting from Derek Jeter, the Tampa Bay Lightning won the Stanley Cup. The Tampa Bay Rays are hoping to add a World Series title of their own as they face off against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the Fall Classic. Brady and the Buccaneers have a 4-2 record as he tries to lead his new team to the Super Bowl.
