Brad Scott is leaving the Clemson program. Joey Knight from the Tampa Bay Times reports that he will join the Bulls for an off field support for his son.
The ties for the Scott family go back to Brad getting his degree from the school in 1979.
Scott served as director of player development at Clemson. He has a long coaching record including,21 total seasons at Clemson.
Scott coached 12 years at Clemson as an assistant coach from 1999-2010. Scott was an assistant coach at Florida State under Bobby Bowden from 1983-93 before taking over as the head coach at South Carolina in 1994. He led the Gamecocks from 1994-98, then was hired as an assistant coach at Clemson in 1999.
