The South Carolina football team made a splash in the transfer portal today picking up a commitment from St. Francis University QB Jason Brown.
The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Brown led the Northeast Conference in passing yards and passing touchdowns in 2019 and set school records for passing touchdowns (28) and yards (3,084).
Joining Brown in transfer is his teammate EJ Jenkins.
Jenkins at 6 foot 8 is now the tallest player on the Gamecocks roster. Last season he had 39 catches for 779 yards and a school-record 13 touchdowns in 2019.
Both players will have 2 years of eligibility.
