Valdosta High coach Rush Propst is considered a controversial figure in coaching circles. Most people know Propst as the head coach of Hoover High School in Alabama, which was featured on the MTV showTwo-A-Days. He coached at Hoover for nine years, winning five state championships. He coached a Colquitt County High School in Georgia, was a volunteer assistant at UAB. He has also revealed he had a 2nd secret family. Those allegations lead to his resignation at Hoover. Here is what is interesting. He was recorded talking with Valdosta TD club president Michael Nelson.
This first clip is about UGA coach Kirby Smart.
He makes comments that recruits get between 90-150k to sign with a program. He also made some comments about Alabama.
Propst has had his word come in to question several times. This does not mean that what he is saying is true or not. He does seem to know the in's and outs of both programs.
