Who will be the gamecock QB heading in to the fall? Coach Shane Beamer talked about the QB's who are battling for the top spot.
Beamer will take everything into account, as he decides which quarterback will open 2021 as the starter.
“Watching everything, evaluating everything, 1-on-1s with the receivers and defensive backs, 7-on-7 and all of the team periods that we do,” Beamer said. "Did a little two-minute situation in practice today as well, so trying to evaluate everything. All of those guys are doing a great job. Right now, it’s still their heads are swimming, because we’re installing a new offense and they’re thinking a lot and trying to learn.
The Gamecock football team will conclude its 2021 spring practice with the annual Garnet and Black Spring Game on Saturday, April 24. Game time has been set for 2 pm and the game will be televised on SEC Network+.
