Blythewood Football Coach Jason Seidel Punished for Recruiting Violations

He was trying to poach players, and now we know how Blythewood football coach Jason Seidel was punished. The State newspaper reports Seidel got a one-week suspension, which he served the week of September 6th, when the Bengals beat Fairfield Central. Seidel also got a reprimand for recruiting violations—according to the investigation by Richland School District Two, Seidel attempted to lure students from Ridge View to transfer to Blythewood and play football for the Bengals.
