Last night’s national championship was tight at the start...Clemson wound up with an early lead, but LSU made all the right adjustments.Quarterback Joe Burrow threw for 463 yards and five touchdowns, and also ran for a score, as LSU topped Clemson, 42-25, to win the national title. It took Burrow and the LSU offense a little while to get going, but they piled 628 yards in the win, finishing the year at 15-0. Clemson saw its 29-game win streak come to an end in New Orleans, giving up 19 more points than they'd allowed in a game all season. Clemson missed out on a third national title in four years.
