College football’s landscape changed again yesterday...the Big Ten did an about-face and announced plans to play this fall, after all.The conference reversed itself after voting last month to postpone all fall sports due to the pandemic. Now the league will start the weekend of October 23rd and play 8 games plus consolation games on championship week. So will eight games, plus one, be enough to put the Big 10 in the mix for a national title? Clemson coach Dabo Swinney says he’s fine with it, adding that with this unusual season, no one knows how many games any school will play. The top-ranked Tigers host the Citadel Saturday afternoon.
