Tanner points out the conservative era of SEC football--grinding out low-scoring wins--has come to an end, and he's interested in finding a creative head coach or offensive coordinator to move the needle for Gamecock fans. Carolina offensive coordinator Mike Bobo will lead the team as interim head coach starting Saturday night against Missouri...leading a group of players left reeling by Muschamp's firing. One player who won’t be suiting up Saturday...Gamecock corner Jaycee Horn, who announced on Twitter that he’s opting out of the rest of the season to prepare for the NFL draft.
One of the signature wins of the Muschamp era happened last season when the Gamecocks tripped up 3rd ranked Georgia in Athens. The rematch in Columbia November 28th kicks off at 7:30pm on the SEC Network.
